ARTIST STATEMENT

Ever since I was a child I had a drive to create.

Every morning and afternoon on the drive to school, I kept a sketchbook tucked behind my mom’s passenger seat. During those rides, I filled its pages with doodles—mostly animals, especially horses. If you had met the energetic second-grade version of me, you would have heard a confident answer whenever someone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up: “An artist.”

Art has allowed me to combine my lifelong love of animals with my creativity in a way that feels meaningful. I look forward to continuing this journey, growing as an artist, and honoring the dream that began with a sketchbook in the backseat of my mom’s car.

To everyone who has supported my work, trusted me with painting your beloved pets, and encouraged me along the way—thank you. Your support has made this journey possible, and I can’t wait to see where it leads to next.
